There has never been a disruption as severe, widespread & unpredictable from a manufacturing standpoint as COVID-19.
COVID-19 created supply-chain problems: delivery delays, increased costs, and shortages of raw materials.
We at Lorenz have learned from this and have already implemented a strategic plan to ensure the best customer service we can offer our clients:
– We have a stronger understanding of our inventory and production schedule and a better grasp on what products are needed and when.
– Securing and stocking a steady supply of parts, components and raw materials and having a better insight over our entire operation and plan to STOCK in our warehouse’s ESSENTIAL materials and components needed to ensure production runs smoothly and is not interrupted.
– We have recently re-instated our pre-Covid ship schedule placing our focus back on shorter delivery times.
In the last few years, we have come to recognize our client’s need for customized, personalized and privately labelled components and we will continue to support these needs.
We recognize and are committed to our partners covering all industries with dry bulk conveying components.
The future may remain uncertain, however, we at Lorenz have learned from this and are making smarter choices now that will help us weather any storm and emerge stronger and more resilient!
