Series SFV/DFV
Syntron® Iris Valves control flow of powders/pellets in production equipment: hoppers, bins & bulk bag unloaders.
Rotate the handle through a 180 degree arc to fully open/close the valve. Various diaphragm materials are available to suit your specific application.

Operation
SFV/DFV Iris Flow Control Valves operate by rotating the control handle through a 180-degree arc. The trigger-type handle locks in multiple precise orifice settings for rapid and frequent opening/closing.
All models (except SFV/DFV-12) include five orifice notch settings. The SFV/DFV-12 features 19 orifice notch settings.

Syntron® Valves can be close against a material head load of 2-5 psi (.01 to .03 Mpa) depending upon valve size and material characteristics.
SFV and DFV Iris Flow Control Valves should not be used in applications exceeding 82°C (180°F)
